Join the HAUS of CHAINZ fashion show production team and gain hands-on experience in fashion, runway production, backstage operations, VIP hospitality, media, talent and live event production.

Volunteer Positions

Twenty-seven ways to participate.

Every department below is staffed by volunteers working alongside experienced production leadership. Review the positions, then select your top three in the application.

Volunteer Team Assistant

Supports volunteer check-in, assignments, schedules, breaks, and communication between volunteer teams.

Model Check-In Assistant

Checks models in, confirms call times and assignments, and directs models to their designated areas.

Designer Check-In Assistant

Welcomes designers, confirms arrival, and directs designers, garments, racks, and assistants to the appropriate production areas.

Backstage Assistant

Supports backstage organization, model movement, designer needs, holding areas, and general backstage operations.

Runway Lineup Assistant

Helps place models in the correct designer and look order and ensures models are ready before runway release.

Quick-Change / Dresser Assistant

Assists models with fast garment, shoe, and accessory changes while protecting designer garments and model privacy.

Garment Rack Assistant

Organizes, labels, monitors, and maintains designer garments, racks, accessories, and assigned looks.

Glam Runner

Helps move models efficiently between hair, makeup, styling, fittings, backstage, and runway lineup.

Designer Runner

Provides approved production assistance to assigned designers and communicates their needs to the appropriate coordinator.

Production Runner

Assists production departments with supplies, documents, credentials, messages, equipment, and other approved production needs.

Talent & Music Assistant

Supports performers, speakers, DJs, and special talent with check-in, call times, staging, and production directions.

Guest Check-In / Registration Assistant

Assists with guest lists, ticket verification, wristbands, credentials, check-in, and guest directions.

Usher / Seating Assistant

Directs attendees to appropriate seating areas and helps maintain organized aisles, entrances, and exits.

VIP Check-In Assistant

Supports VIP guest arrivals, verifies approved VIP access, and directs guests to designated VIP experiences.

VIP Hospitality Assistant

Supports the VIP experience by assisting guests, maintaining designated VIP areas, and communicating guest needs to VIP Operations.

Red Carpet Assistant

Supports red carpet arrivals, guest queues, scheduled appearances, and communication with the Red Carpet Oversight team.

Media Check-In Assistant

Checks approved media credentials and directs photographers, videographers, and press to authorized areas.

Step-and-Repeat / Photo Line Assistant

Organizes the photo queue and helps maintain efficient movement through the step-and-repeat and photography areas.

Front-of-House / Guest Experience Assistant

Welcomes attendees, answers basic questions, provides directions, and supports a professional guest experience.

Access Control Assistant

Supports the Security & Access Control Lead by checking credentials and helping maintain restricted production areas. This position does not replace professional security personnel.

Vendor Check-In / Load-In Assistant

Supports vendor arrivals, deliveries, setup locations, load-in schedules, and communication with Vendor & Venue Oversight.

Venue Operations Assistant

Supports signage, seating, production areas, supplies, venue organization, and general event setup.

Hospitality / Refreshment Assistant

Maintains designated water, refreshment, and hospitality stations for approved participants, production personnel, and guests.

Social Media Content Assistant

Captures production-approved behind-the-scenes and event content and submits content to the Media Department. No unauthorized posting or livestreaming.

Production Administration Assistant

Supports sign-in sheets, schedules, forms, checklists, credentials, document organization, and administrative production needs.

Survey & Feedback Assistant

Helps distribute and collect approved surveys, feedback forms, and post-event participant information.

Breakdown / Load-Out Assistant

Supports post-show organization, breakdown, garment racks, signage, approved equipment, supplies, and venue load-out.

Volunteer Expectations

Professional standards on every station.

  • Professional, punctual, respectful and dependable at all times.
  • Able to follow the production chain of command.
  • Maintain confidentiality when required.
  • Follow all event and venue policies.
  • Remain at your assigned station unless released or reassigned by leadership.

Reassignment

Volunteers may be reassigned to another appropriate department based on production needs, experience, availability, and event-day staffing.

Volunteers receive hands-on production experience, a professional reference pathway and exposure to fashion, media and live event operations. Volunteer roles are unpaid unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
